We have quite a number of things to share with you all!
After a few setbacks, we are finally working on the second music video for our new album, "Clamor Victorium, Clamor Silentii".
We will begin filming soon, so we will be giving you updates as we get them. For now, we will keep the details close to our chest until we start filming.
Apart from that, we have two shows in November.
Saturday, November 23rd, we will be part of the Rage on Stage event in The Green House, Aguadilla (Puerto Rico), where we will be sharing the stage with Abstract Forms, Attachment and Meaning.
Friday, November 29th, we will be playing with Ongo and Sacred Guardian at Nuestro Son, Old San Juan (Puerto Rico).
Hails to all!
As many of you know, here at Tavú have a tradition of playing shows on Halloween and having an epic blast.
This year was no exception.
On Wednesday, October 30th, Tavú hit the stage at La Respuesta to celebrate the return of Vialterna, who had officially broken up 11 years prior, yet who 10 years almost to the date (well, October 31st 2003), got together to share the stage with us and thrash legends ANTHRAX.
Who remembers THIS amazing concert? We sure as hell do!
So, we celebrated a decade from playing with Anthrax, Halloween, and the return to the stage of Vialterna.
Needless to say, we had a gloriously marvelous time!
As you can see here, we decked out as Zombie Presidents and rocked the house!
Hails to all!
We are adding more shows to our calendar these upcoming weeks.
For now we have a special presentation this Wednesday October 30th at La Respuesta, where we will join Vialterna in their return to the stage after 11 years of hiatus.
After that, we have a spectacular show with Ongo and Sacred Guardian on November 29th, at Nuestro Son, Old San Juan.
More will be announced soon, and a few surprises are upcoming.
We hope to be able to tell you all about them soon!
Thank you all for your support!
As some of you know, we played the Vive Rock Festival in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, on Saturday September 28th.
We had a great time slot, right as the sun was setting, somewhere around 6:30pm.
The sound was great, the stage was awesome, the lights energizing, and most of all, the crowd was supremely awesome. We love setting you afire with our music, and it's always wonderful for us to see and feel a crowd thoroughly enjoying our live performances.
We were named as one of the most solid performers of the festival by a few local independent music media sources, like El Batiscafo and IndieRiot.
We also had an epic blast with all the bands, the fans, old friends and new. This festival has to happen again!
We uploaded some rather awesome pics of our performance to our Facebook Page. You can see them by clicking HERE.
The folks at IndieRiot published a complete and band by band review on the festival, which you can read HERE.
A highlight from the article: about Tavú they mention "Without a doubt, the demonstrated that they are one of the most solid bands of the island." Awesomeness.
They also published some very nice photosets of the festival, with us included of course. You can see their photos of the festival HERE.
We hope that this event fuels the fire for more events of the same level of professionalism and production quality, and of course, another Vive Rock Festival every year!
We thank Anexo Rock for inviting us and letting us rock the hell out with all of you.
We love yas!
Tavú having a blast!
Hails to all!
Before Tavú released the new album, "Clamor Victorium, Clamor Silentii", by way of chance we ended up talking with Dying Supernova on Twitter. As the first single, and later on, the entire album rolled out, she gave us a huge hand by spreading our music to quite a number of independent radio stations and internet radio, as well as helped out immensely by spreading the word about us.
She was blown away by our music and believed strongly in our work, but more than that, she believed in us as people, in our talent, in our way of viewing the world. She was one of the first people who heard the album before its release.
She has also become a good friend to us and we appreciate her both for her undying support, as well as for being all around awesome.
That said, it came as a big surprise to us when through her official site, Dying Supernova Promotions, she published a very profound, heartfelt review of our new album.
We didn't expect it, and honestly, it tugged on all our heartstrings.
It is always a joy when someone understands the complexity of our music and our lyrical concepts, but it is so much more touching when someone understands and feels the emotions behind our music as deep as Dying Supernova has. It is quite clear she has digested and analyzed all the layers of "Clamor Victorium, Clamor Silentii".
Again, this touched our heartstrings as no other review of our album has done before.
So, without much further ado, we share this awesome review with all of you. READ IT!

Saludos a todos!
